The 3M™ Tack Pad has been developed especially for the automotive aftermarket as the final step in surface preparation prior to spraying primers, base coat or clear coat paints. To achieve a perfect paint job all loose dirt and dust particles must be removed without leaving surface marks.
Based on 3M’s non-woven technology, the tack pad’s three-dimensional web absorbs dust particles and has good conformability, excellent dust collection and reduces adhesive transfer. It is designed to work with all modern paint systems, including water-based paints.
